The car is not slow for a 2ltr diesel in standard form, but the extra Evolution 35bhp does make such an incredible difference and not just in terms of performance as I also get around a 3mpg improvement in fuel economy.

I originally had my doubts about ‘chipping’ my car, thinking that it was ok for boy racers with old Fords and Vauxhalls but perhaps not suitable for something as technically sophisticated as a later model BMW. Just a note to say after looking around the "chip" / "remap" market I was a bit confused by the amount of plug and play devices available and also the differences in cost some as cheap as £30 some in the £500's . Then someone recommended that I should try Evolution Chips , at £359 I did have some reservations , After all it's only a guy with a laptop how much difference can that make ?. But after the installation I have to tell you I could not believe the difference in my car , It's almost as if someone put a different engine it . It's without doubt the best £359 I have ever spent . I cannot tell how happy I am with the car now and also that the Installation guy Andy (Neptune performance) is a great representative of your company and it's services. Once again, thank you.
